Beef Taco Salad with Guacamole Dressing

Cooking Duration: 20 minutes Introduction: With an avocado based dressing, guacamole dressing is part of most Mexican and American cuisines. When added to your beef taco salad, it is a sure way of enjoying your meals. Ingredients: Olive oil Lean ground beef Water Whole grain corn Diced iceberg lettuce Cherry tomatoes Shredded cheddar cheese Guacamole style dip Mayonnaise Procedure: 1. Preheat the oven to about 230oC 2. Place a shallow iron pan on a source of heat and heat the olive oil 3. Add onion to the hot olive oil. Cook and stir for about five minutes 4. Add beef to the pan and let it cook for five minutes or until the pink color is lost. 5. Drain and discard the fat drippings from the pan 6. Add water and stir it for a while. 7. Add the seasoning and taco sauce: ensure you mix them well 8. Return to cooking pan and its contents to the source of heat and cook while stirring until the sauce has thickened 9. Take a large bowl and place broken taco shells into small sizes. 10. Add cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. Mix them well 11. Add meat to the mixture and mix well also 12. Using a different bowl, combine mayonnaise and guacamole dip together 13. Pour them over the salad 14. Toss them lightly. 15. Serve the salad while still warm or just immediately after cooking.
