Smothered Beef and Bean Burritos
Duration: I hour 15 minutes
Introduction:
If you want to have a special Mexican night, smothered beef and bean burritos covered with a delicious chile sauce is the sure way to go. With garnishing done using tomatoes and cilantro, prepare one and it will be a sure way of showing love to the people you love.
Ingredients:
Mushroom soup
Cheddar cheese soup
Sour cream
Olive oil
Ground beef
Diced onions
Water
Season mix
Taco sauce
Refried beans
Chopped fresh cilantro
Diced tomato
Procedure:
1. Preheat the oven to about 180oC
2. Coat the baking dish with the cooking spray
3. Using a small bowl, mix the sour cream and soups together
4. Heat the oil in a shallow iron pan and add onions and let them fry, then add beef to the cooking pan
5. Cook and stir the beef until it is no longer pink
6. Drain and get rid of the fat
7. Add both water and seasoning mix to the drained beef
8. Cook it for about three minutes
9. Add the refried beans to the cooking pan and stir
10. Wrap the tortillas with paper towels
11. Put them in a microwave and put on high power for about one minute
12. Divide the beef mixture among the number of tortillas you have
13. Fold the tortillas by their ends and then roll them tightly holding the mixture within firmly
14. Place them in a baking dish and seam them
15. Repeat the above process with all the tortillas you had prepared.
16. Spread the soup mixture over the tortillas
17. Bake them for about 25 minutes until they are well heated
18. Decorate the cooked food with tomatoes and cilantro
